Perfect Provence Recap

A special group of people and I just wrapped up our Perfect Provence Autumn Tour 2019, with nothing less than sheer perfection coming from every corner of our many stops. Starting in Paris for several days, a small group of us took a tour to the beaches of Normandy.

We then set off quickly to Avignon where we began our journey with a tour of the city and an evening cooking class.

The next morning we hopped over to Tavel for a lesson in rose wines, then Chateauneuf du Pape to uncover some stunning wines - their grapes grown on vines planted on large pebbly, stony soils.

Ensuite, we visited a number of other beautiful villages including Vaison Romaine, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Menerbes, Gordes and Isle de la Sorgue for their Sunday market.

Our delightful adventure ended for most of the group in Nice.

A few of us went on to Ajaccio, Corsica and from there got to explore this fascinating island with its beautiful terroir and unique wines.
